During these challenging and unprecedented times, BWLNC’s primary goal is to further the health and safety of our members. As such, we have suspended all in-person gatherings scheduled for the next few months in an effort to assist in the halting of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Since the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our daily lives, we have decided to launch an online platform where our members can continue to connect, share resources, and learn from our vibrant community of talented women. In April, we will be launching “BWLNC’s Wellness Webinar Series.” Our theme this year is “Health, Wealth, and Advancing Yourself.” Each webinar will be approximately one (1) hour long discussing a topic related to the overall wellness of Black professional women, including, but not limited to, mental health and stress relief, financial planning, and estate planning. BWLNC is committed to providing resources to our members and helping them navigate COVID-19 safely.
Thank you for your attention and consideration — it is my sincere hope that BWLNC’s actions and communications will allow our members to feel fully supported and confident in their lives and practice, particularly during these uncertain and stressful times. There is nothing greater than the bonds of community and friendship. As a community of dedicated women, may we be an example of the right action in the days and weeks to come.
